The Ultimate Hip hop Experience crew is back yet again with a new weekly hip hop show dubbed the Battle Of A Thousands which will be held every Friday at Pirates Beach Club. The location is quit strategic since it is along the Mtwapa highway (everyone knows Mtwapa Mats run 24hours). It is close to the beach, like really close you can actually wander from the club to the beach and back (most guys from Nairobi have never been there so they need a vivid explanation) You see, Nairobi beat us in almost everything, but one thing they will never have is the beach, so how about using that as our selling point? The ambiance is just fabulous and the sea breeze is just wow! Now mix that with hip hop, you get an out-of-this-world experience.
We all know that there have been insecurity issues along that route leading to the club, that has been taken care of. The Club's new management has ensured there is security to protect it's clients. So I assure you there is nothing to worry about if that was your main concern. Now you have no excuse to miss the show.
This show will see to it that battle artist are given a chance to showcase their style by competing with others each Friday. If you have never been to a rap battle before then you are in for an entertainment. This show is also meant to break the monotony in clubs. You will find that all clubs are full of dance music, Jamaican music, Nigerian, South African music...... dance dance dance everywhere! Very few clubs do play hip hop. We will provide that and more. Your Fridays will never be the same again
